Position Title: Embedded Software Engineer with NI Experience

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineer with a strong background in National Instruments (NI) test setups and Python scripting to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated test systems using NI hardware and software tools.
  • Develop Python scripts to automate test processes and integrate with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to understand circuit board designs and develop appropriate test strategies.
  • Leverage experience with microcontrollers, system-on-chip (SOCs), and other complex components to design effective tests.
  • Utilize standard electronic lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.) to conduct thorough testing.
  • Build and integrate test fixtures and software into complex test systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with National Instruments (NI) test setups and software.
  • Strong proficiency in Python scripting.
  • Knowledge of hardware and software tools for test automation (e.g., NI, dSPACE, Labview).
  • Experience with circuit board design or testing, particularly for complex components.
  • Familiarity with standard electronic lab test equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with specific NI products (e.g., LabVIEW, TestStand, VeriStand).
  • Knowledge of other programming languages (C++, C#).
  • Experience with continuous integration and testing (CI/CD).
