Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a role model for the organization's Vision Statement and collaborate with the Administrator to ensure adherence and implementation.
- Lead the ongoing Quality Assurance and Assessment process, supervise performance improvement initiatives, and track clinical trends and outcomes.
- Utilize reports and current survey data to assess clinical progress on a monthly basis.
- Communicate care delivery trends, challenges, and opportunities to the administration and relevant committees.
- Anticipate patient needs and proactively address potential issues.
- Promote patient rights and enhance customer service initiatives.
- Ensure staff proficiency in utilizing the feedback and complaint processes.
- Oversee the structure and roles within the nursing department.
- Establish and manage objectives for the nursing department through strategic planning aligned with the company’s mission.
- Understand and influence the role of nursing leadership through effective team building, motivation, and communication.
- Foster collaborative relationships among nursing managers and other healthcare professionals.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a nursing leadership team to oversee clinical operations.
- Maintain an environment that empowers nursing managers to address challenges effectively.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current RN license in the state; a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- A minimum of five years in long-term or acute healthcare settings is preferred; at least two years of supervisory nursing experience is required.
- Must possess at least six months of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
