Job Title: Civil Site Design Engineer

Land Development Solutions, a reputable civil engineering firm in Knoxville, TN, is seeking an experienced Civil Site Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and designing civil engineering plans for land development projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop site plans for land development projects using AutoCAD Civil3D
  • Design rough grading, site layout, hydrology, utilities, and roads for various types of buildings and facilities
  • Obtain necessary permits from city, county, and state authorities
  • Collaborate with project managers to establish project timelines and designs
  • Develop diagrams and visual aids, and prepare design specifications
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Execute projects based on outlined criteria
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Engineering License preferred
  • Experience with AutoCAD, specifically Civil 3D
  • Experience with PDF editing software (Bluebeam)
  • 1-3 years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development, and land use permitting
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills, and design skills
