HRIS and Benefits Manager

Job Summary

The HRIS and Benefits Manager will serve as a subject matter expert for the HRIS and benefit platforms, providing training and management support to the team. This role will be responsible for maintaining all benefit information and related compliance activities throughout the organization, while staying up-to-date on federal and state laws, rules, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate a Healthy Work Environment: Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment that promotes compassion, respect, and employee morale.
  • Ensure Data Integrity: Perform audits, run rosters, and analyze information to ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee data.
  • Implement HRIS and Benefit Systems: Manage the implementation of various HRIS and benefit administration systems to streamline data and improve workflow across departments.
  • Compliance and Leave Management: Stay up-to-date on state and federal leave standards and administer company leave policies, including PFML, FMLA, MMLA, bereavement, jury duty, WC, and personal leaves.
  • Benefit Administration: Serve as the main point of contact for benefit carriers and assist with escalated employee questions and issues related to benefit plans, eligibility, and enrollment.
  • Benefits Analysis: Analyze complex benefits information, forecast trends, and assist with future benefits designs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field, with 5 years of direct HR/payroll experience or 10 years in a high-level Human Resources role.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and organizational skills, strong facilitation or training skills, working knowledge of federal and state employment and wage and hour laws, and ability to maintain high-quality, accurate, and timely documentation.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior ADP Workforce Now experience.
