Job Summary:

We are in search of a qualified Respiratory Medicine Specialist to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients experiencing severe or chronic respiratory conditions. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in internal medicine and the cardiopulmonary system, with the ability to identify and treat structural, inflammatory, infectious, and neoplastic respiratory disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with patients to comprehend their symptoms and health concerns.
  • Diagnosing and managing conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema.
  • Utilizing and interpreting pulmonary examinations and diagnostic tests to assist in identifying cardiopulmonary diseases, including CT scans, chest fluoroscopies, ultrasounds, and bronchoscopies.
  • Performing specialized procedures to obtain samples from the chest wall lining or lungs for further analysis.
  • Administering immunizations to prevent cardiopulmonary diseases.
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of patient appointments, including observations, prescribed treatments, and test outcomes.
  • Providing guidance and support to patients undergoing long-term care.
  • Conducting research on the testing and development of innovative medications and treatment methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
  • 3 to 7 years of internship and clinical residency training in pulmonology.
  • Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine in pulmonology.
  • Valid and active medical license in the state of practice.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathize with patients.
  • Flexible working hours.

Compensation: $250,000-$300,000
