The selected candidate will be integral in providing both immediate and long-term care for individuals recovering from respiratory illnesses.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Outpatient Pulmonologist will be responsible for:
- Delivering comprehensive adult outpatient pulmonary services, including assessment, treatment, and care coordination.
- Monitoring patients with a history of Covid-19 who are experiencing persistent health issues.
- Providing mentorship and oversight to medical residents, students, and advanced practice clinicians.
- Graduation from an accredited medical institution (MD or DO).
- Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Medicine.
- Possession of an unrestricted New York State medical license or the ability to secure one.
