The Division of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine within the Department of Pediatrics at Montefiore Medical Center is actively seeking qualified candidates to enhance our esteemed faculty. Our institution is a leading academic children's hospital, dedicated to serving a diverse patient demographic. Currently, our division comprises a collaborative team of physicians and nurse practitioners, committed to educational excellence, innovative research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Candidate Profile
We are in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible individual who is passionate about pursuing a career in academic Pediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm and a collaborative spirit, alongside a commitment to delivering exceptional clinical care to children with respiratory conditions. A strong interest in establishing a research career, whether basic, translational, or clinical, is essential. We particularly welcome candidates who aspire to secure extramural and intramural funding and aim to become independent researchers. Leadership roles are available for those who qualify.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $200,000-$300,000, commensurate with academic rank, along with opportunities to increase earnings through clinical productivity incentives and bonuses. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
