At Amazon, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Robotics team. As a key member of this team, you will design and develop innovative hardware solutions for our emerging robotic systems, improving existing hardware to optimize performance and enhance customer experience.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production, including specification, design, prototyping, validation, and testing. You will collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality organizations as well as vendors to ensure a smooth product launch and sustaining.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze robotic systems, write requirements, functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and integrators to deliver automation solutions.
  • Create design of experiments and lead cross-functional automation of experiments.
About You

You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and solid experience with CAD software like SolidWorks or similar tools. You possess thorough knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, theories, and concepts, and can apply them to product design. You also have excellent communication skills, hands-on experience crafting proof-of-concept models and prototypes, and proficiency with full lifecycle project management.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your level of experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will have access to opportunities for growth and development within the company.
