Job Overview

Amazon is seeking a talented engineer to work on our Robotic Movement software team. As a Software Development Engineer, you will design and deliver high-performance software that controls our world-wide fleet of mobile robots.

The service-based software architecture is mainly written in Java and built using AWS products. Our team balances building new services to meet the growing needs of our customer base and extending existing services by developing new algorithms or optimizing application performance.

A successful candidate for this role will have a strong background in algorithms and system design, experience programming with at least one software programming language, and experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
