Guest Services Coordinator

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Front Desk Agent at Howard Johnson I-Drive. This position is crucial in delivering outstanding service to our guests, ensuring a seamless experience during their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitating guest arrivals and departures, including managing room bookings and cancellations
- Processing financial transactions and managing guest accounts
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of hotel services and policies
- Addressing guest questions and resolving issues promptly
- Assisting in emergency situations as needed
- Ensuring the lobby and shared spaces are tidy and welcoming
- Working collaboratively with team members to enhance guest satisfaction
Essential Duties:
- Greeting guests and assigning accommodations
- Handling payment processing and confirming billing details
- Providing insights about hotel features and nearby attractions
- Keeping accurate records of room availability and guest interactions
- Performing basic bookkeeping tasks
- Supporting guests through the check-in and check-out procedures
- Maintaining cleanliness in common areas
- Assisting with laundry and housekeeping tasks
- Reporting maintenance concerns to management
- Managing inventory and supplies
- Taking on Manager-on-Duty responsibilities as required
- Executing additional tasks as assigned

Requirements:

- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Capability to handle various objects and tools
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to bend, kneel, and crouch as necessary
- Exposure to diverse weather conditions and cleaning chemicals
