Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a network operating model that drives quality, stability, and efficiency
  • Lead a team of network engineers and operations professionals to manage the operational readiness of all changes to our global network
  • Collaborate with leaders across network engineering functions to support and manage the operational readiness of all changes to our global network
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network operations and IT service management
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve network performance, reliability, and security
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrences and identify potential technology, training, or process remediation
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise operations and IT networking field
  • Experience operating and supporting large-scale multivendor network environments
  • Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and observability
  • Experience with technology lifecycle management, vulnerability management, and industry best practices
  • Experience with enterprise IT service management platforms and ITIL
  • Experience with Lean/Agile-based technology delivery teams
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical reasoning skills
  • Ability to partner and collaborate with other technical leadership and their teams
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to influence other teams, build associate development plans, coach, and mentor others
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud-based networking technologies
  • Experience with network security, including firewalls, intrusion prevention and detection, segmentation, and NAC
  • Experience with traffic management, including network and application load balancers and GSLB
  • Experience with DDI, including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM
  • Experience with network proxy, including web, socks, plug, and API/XML gateway
  • Experience with infrastructure automation, including Python, Ansible, Netconf, and gNMI
  • Experience with network tools, including packet analyzers, packet brokers, flow analyzers, configuration management, monitoring, and performance management tools
