Job Summary:

The Leasing Consultant will be responsible for ensuring that leasing, marketing, and customer service goals are met for the property. This role is 100% customer-facing and requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate traffic and lease units to meet occupancy and closing ratio goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective residents
  • Partner with the Assistant Community Manager to develop and implement marketing and advertising strategies
  • Ensure model apartments are in touring condition and maintain accurate records of traffic activity
  • Utilize property management software to manage incoming leads and convert phone and email traffic into scheduled appointments
  • Manage confidential resident files and perform opening tasks to ensure a smooth leasing process
  • Communicate effectively with site management and maintenance team to resolve any issues or complaints
  • Meet and exceed occupancy and closing ratio goals throughout the lease-up and stabilized stages of the community
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Basic level knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience in social media and technology
  • Sensitivity to confidential matters and information
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to use general office equipment, such as a telephone, printer, scanner, copier, and key track system
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, overtime, and other unscheduled times as required
Education and Experience:
  • At least 3 years of customer service experience
  • Minimum of one year of previous residential leasing experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education required
  • Multi-Family Lease Up experience preferred
  • Prior experience in RealPage, OneSite, or another equivalent property management system preferred
