About the Position
Cleveland County Schools is seeking a highly qualified Social Studies Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. This is a full-time position for the academic year.

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

About the Job
As a Social Studies Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching secondary social studies courses to students in grades 9-12. You will create engaging lesson plans, deliver instruction, and assess student progress to ensure they meet learning objectives. Your role will also involve collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum and improving student outcomes.

Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.7 GPA or have passed PRAXIS II scores on Praxis II test 5081 Social Studies: Content Knowledge and Praxis II test 5624 Principles of Teaching and Learning: Grades 7-12. Candidates with a middle grades social studies license area may also be considered.
