Veterinary Medicine Liaison

The Student Ambassador is a vital role at Banfield Pet Hospital, serving as a liaison between the university and our medical team. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Represent Banfield Pet Hospital in a professional and sincere manner, promoting awareness of our mission and vision among peers and faculty.
- Assist the Student Programs team and assigned Banfield Medical Director in arranging campus visits, distributing materials, and coordinating events.
- Participate in presentations on campus and provide follow-up with students and Banfield.
- Distribute Banfield flyers, posters, and other collateral to faculty and student body, as allowed by school policy.
- Inform the Student Programs team of student activities and functions that may serve as a venue for Banfield participation.
- Attend Banfield-sponsored conferences and educational meetings, as appropriate.
- Maintain open communication with the Student Programs team and assigned Banfield Medical Director.
- Action-oriented and able to take initiative in finding solutions to problems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems.
- Strong client service skills and ability to provide attentive, courteous, and informative service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under stress.
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb, as well as manipulate up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in an environment where pets are present.
- Enrolled as a student in a veterinary medicine program at a School or College of Veterinary Medicine.
