Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Cardiovascular Laboratory at Allina Health. As a key member of our team, you will perform and assist with procedures in diagnostic and interventional radiology, including cardiovascular, peripheral endovascular, and structural heart procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Complete procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines
- Identify patients with two identifiers and document accurately all needed aspects of the procedure
- Observe and communicate with patients, responding to their needs and maintaining a safe patient environment in the procedure area
- Perform procedures with a high degree of accuracy and demonstrate appropriate knowledge of all diagnostic equipment
- Provide accurate clerical functions, including using Excellian (electronic medical record) and ensuring all documentation is complete post-procedure
- Communicate with supervisors and team members, reporting problems, issues, or ideas and providing assistance, ideas, and information to support the work of others
- Vocational or Technical Training graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- 2-5 years of experience in a Cardiovascular Laboratory, with 2 years strongly preferred
- Registered Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required upon hire
- BLS Tier - Basic Life Support - Multisource required upon hire and ACLSBLS2AH required within 180 days
