We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Child Care Regulation Inspector. As a key member of our Child Care Regulation department, you will be responsible for monitoring and investigating child-care facilities throughout the State of Texas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct facility inspections to ensure compliance with standards and regulations
  • Investigate complaints and incidents in licensed child-care facilities and homes
  • Evaluate new applications for child-care facilities to issue licenses and registrations
  • Identify risk and recommend enforcement actions to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children
  • Provide training and technical assistance to child-care providers on issues related to minimum standards
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Texas laws relating to regulation of childcare and child abuse/neglect

  • Ability to initiate and participate in enforcement of regulations concerning child-care facilities
