We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Caltek Technologies.

About the Role:

  • Responsibilities include:
  • Estimating low voltage telecommunication projects using industry-standard construction means and methods.
  • Collaborating with a network of subcontractors and material suppliers to ensure best value pricing, timely estimates, and quality of work.
  • Designing, analyzing, and recommending solutions relative to CAT 6, CAT 6A, copper, fiber-optic, and coaxial cable installations.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance, positive attitude, and exceptional work ethic.
  • Evaluating new IT strategies and procedures.
  • Maintaining required project documentation.
  • Serving as a liaison between business and technical staff.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in information technology or other related fields.
  • RCDD Certification preferred.
  • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Able to estimate large construction projects.
  • Prior experience in access control and other systems is preferred.
  • Advanced experience estimating low voltage projects is required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and do takeoffs.
  • Strong Computer skills MS Office (strong knowledge of Excel), Visio, MS Project, and CAD.
  • Possess high-level experience in Banks, University and Hospital environments, Schools and Corporate buildings, Manufacturing, and Distribution warehouses.
Compensation:

Estimated salary: $275,000 - $475,000 per year based on experience and performance.

License or certification:
