About SOL Engineering Services, LLC

We are an engineering and technical services provider with over 19 years of experience in providing high-quality services to clients across the United States. Our team of approximately 100 engineers, scientists, and program managers work together to ensure effective management and delivery of all projects.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and project management support to communities recovering from disasters such as hurricanes, floods, and other catastrophic events.
  • Utilize your electrical engineering skills to contribute to the rebuilding and restoration of critical infrastructure and public facilities.
  • Mobilize within 24-48 hours to remote locations and disaster conditions.
  • Commit to a minimum 90-day assignment in disaster conditions.
  • Work well across multiple teams and meet critical deadlines.
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of times on varying terrain.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on infrastructure design, construction, or maintenance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to pass an FBI background check.
  • Must have a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
  • Ability to work in different locations as needed by FEMA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and market rates.
