Behavioral Health Clinical Program Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Clinical Program Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, therapists, and experts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver curriculum to meet the psychological needs of patients, promoting healthy mental health management.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team planning, encouraging patient and family involvement.
  • Provide clinical services aimed at stabilizing psychiatric crises and promoting healthy mental health management through a biopsychosocial model of treatment.
  • Co-facilitate group psychotherapy and facilitate psychoeducational focus groups, serving as a role model for patients to observe and learn socially effective values, attitudes, and behaviors.
  • Document patient care and information accurately, utilizing correct grammar and spelling, reflecting patient behavior, thoughts, feelings, and responses to milieu and treatment plan-directed interventions.
  • Interact with others in a nonjudgmental, assertive, and respectful manner, demonstrating a professional, caring attitude and behavior towards others, and understanding program philosophy, rules, and regulations.
  • Offer brief individual, group, and family therapy, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and provide information and referrals as needed in collaboration with the case management department.
  • Review charts in preparation of patient treatment planning and provide input on patient progress, evaluating and updating treatment interventions in collaboration with the charge nurse and/or Program Director.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of the patient, including child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric stages.
  • Participate in weekend assessments, group therapy rotation, and clinical-on-call rotation as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Counseling.
  • Independent Practice Scope Licensure in the State of Practice.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the discipline.
