Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer – Evaporators to join our team at Knowhirematch. As a key member of our Product Development team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support for our Evaporator Service Product Group within North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide process engineering support to the Product Manager for the full line of Evaporator Service products, including sales, sizing, and project support.
- Conduct customer visits and audits to resolve problems and promote product sales, including detailed trip reports and follow-up.
- Perform heat and material balance calculations, process equipment sizing, and P&ID and system configurations.
- Conduct safety and HAZOP reviews, including safety system design reviews.
- Provide process engineering support for checkouts, start-ups, and performance testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering or Pulp & Paper Technology with a minimum of 5+ years of directly related experience.
- Experience in providing customers with on-site evaluations, audits, and training.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively on various levels, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and within a group.
- Moderate travel required for this position (30%-50%) depending on project activity.
