Qualifications
  • At least 6 years of experience in FF&E procurement or a combination of 6 years in FF&E procurement and staff management.
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Photoshop; familiarity with Procore is advantageous.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Suite, InDesign, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet.
  • Self-motivated, dedicated, and efficient.
  • Able to manage multiple projects across various phases and scales simultaneously.
  • Exhibits high professional integrity, taking pride and ownership in both personal and team outputs.
  • Passionate about both overarching design concepts and intricate details.
  • Excellent graphic design, organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Experience in all design phases from inception to completion at a comparable firm.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing Construction Documentation (CD) sets, including team delegation and quality assurance.
  • Proven capability to oversee the Construction Administration (CA) process, ensuring effective task delegation and issue resolution.
  • Knowledgeable in building codes, interior materials, specifications, and construction techniques.
  • Basic understanding of architectural design as it pertains to the coordination of the Interior Design scope.
  • Utilizes experience across all phases of Interior Design project deliverables from concept through to construction administration.
Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and guide the project design team, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain positive client relationships as a primary contact, contributing to business development opportunities.
  • Engage in special projects as directed by leadership, enhancing process standards and team engagement.
  • Implement a systematic approach to project management, ensuring task lists are current and comprehensive.
  • Conduct one-on-one mentorship sessions, tracking progress and providing feedback to leadership.
  • Lead project teams, reinforcing Vida Design's vision and core values.
  • Clearly communicate project objectives and manage scope and fees to ensure financial performance aligns with client agreements.
  • Coordinate project meetings and maintain comprehensive documentation of all client correspondence.
  • Facilitate team meetings, encouraging participation and collaboration in problem-solving.
  • Oversee the creation of conceptual design visions, articulating rationale to the project team and clients.
  • Ensure quality control of all project deliverables, providing thorough reviews and necessary revisions.
