Associate Vice President for Alumni Engagement

The Associate Vice President for Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving is a key leadership position that oversees the university-wide alumni engagement and annual giving program. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to foster lifelong connections and loyalty among alumni, students, and the campus community.
Responsibilities- Lead and implement effective alumni programming that promotes a culture of engagement and pride among alumni, students, and the campus community.
- Oversee the annual giving team to secure philanthropic support for schools/units and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with university leadership, deans, and faculty to develop alumni programming and annual giving plans that support academic and university priorities.
- Build and oversee a nationwide alumni club structure to maintain connections with the university and among alumni.
- Provide leadership for the Pacific Alumni Association board of directors and its programs.
- Engage alumni leaders in meaningful volunteer roles on and off campus.
- Partner with the strategic communications and development communications teams to create and execute a plan to effectively communicate with alumni and donors.
- Lead university-wide alumni events, including Homecoming and Family Weekend and reunions.
- Supervise and motivate staff to ensure each member has well-defined and measurable goals.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in alumni relations/development management experience in higher education.
