Rush University Medical Center Seeks Hepatology Advanced Practice Provider

We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled Hepatology Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Rush University Medical Center. This role will focus on the management of outpatient clinic and inpatient rounds for pre-transplant/high acuity patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive or episodic health assessments and develop patient care plans
  • Order and interpret tests, treatments, and therapies within the scope of practice
  • Prescribe medications, including controlled substances to the extent delegated
  • Provide direct patient care in assigned areas, which may be in a hospital or ambulatory setting
Requirements:
  • Acute care certification for APRN candidates
  • Previous experience in Hepatology or related field preferred
  • Board certification, state licensure, and continuing medical education as outlined by hospital, state, and federal policy
About the Role:

This provider will join a team of six Hepatologists and five fellow APPs at Rush's main downtown campus. The successful candidate will exemplify the Rush mission, vision, and values and act in accordance with the policies, procedures, guidelines of Rush, including the Rush University Medical Group Customer Service standards.
