Liver Transplant and Hepatology Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity

Rush University Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Hepatology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient clinic and inpatient setting.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop patient care plans
- Order and interpret tests, treatments, and therapies within the scope of practice
- Prescribe medications, including controlled substances to the extent delegated
- Provide direct patient care in assigned areas, which may be in a hospital or ambulatory setting
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide integrated delivery of patient care services
- Acute care certification as an APRN
- Previous experience in Hepatology or a related field is preferred
- Board certification, state licensure, and continuing medical education as outlined by hospital, state, and federal policy
