About the Role:

TotalMed Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Behavioral Health setting. As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse, you will provide holistic nursing care to patients with mental health disorders, conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized care plans to promote recovery and stability.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate and holistic nursing care to patients with mental health disorders
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status, including psychiatric symptoms, behavioral patterns, and risk factors
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques to promote recovery and stability
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate care and support patients' overall well-being
  • Advocate for patients' rights, facilitate psychoeducation for patients and their families, and promote a supportive and therapeutic environment conducive to healing and recovery

Requirements:

  • Current RN license
  • BLS (other certifications as required by facility)
  • 2 years of recent Behavioral Health experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
