EMS Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EMS Adjunct Instructor to join our team at AMR Corp. in Roseville, CA. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in various EMS courses, including EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, and standardized courses such as ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality educational content to students in a variety of EMS courses.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure students meet the required standards.
- Collaborate with the EMS Program Manager to establish and maintain curriculum standards.
- Supervise students in clinical areas and ensure they meet the required clinical competencies.
- Stay current with state and local EMS requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain Instructor status for standardized courses as required.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a field/clinical setting as an EMT or Paramedic.
- Experience as an adjunct instructor preferred.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Completion of an approved Instructor course preferred.
- NREMT certification preferred.
- AHA BLS Instructor certification preferred.
- AHA ACLS Instructor certification preferred.
- PHTLS or ITLS Instructor certification preferred.
- CA Paramedic license required.
