D.H. Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a Junior Estimator to join our Central Estimating Team. This role is ideal for individuals who possess strong communication skills, are adept at multitasking, and have a passion for numbers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire knowledge in bidding for various types of doors for both new construction and aftermarket projects nationwide (no travel required).
  • Maintain exceptional communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze construction drawings and specifications to formulate bidding strategies, assess quantities, and estimate costs.
  • Prepare professional submittal and closeout documentation.
  • Oversee multiple projects concurrently until completion.
  • Engage with projects throughout the entire construction lifecycle.
  • Contribute innovative ideas that foster continuous improvement within the team and the organization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates for this position often come from diverse backgrounds, including those with no prior construction experience. Key attributes include excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset. Familiarity with basic math and Microsoft Excel is advantageous.
