Concrete Construction Trainee Program

In this position, you will have the opportunity to support a business that has evolved since its inception into one of the largest concrete subcontractors in the nation, with our construction experts managing over 200 projects that encompass more than 20 million gross square feet annually. With your involvement, we strive to merge the capabilities of a large organization with the agility of a smaller entity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in the planning and estimation phases of projects to ensure the incorporation of the most efficient, safe, and cost-effective form systems into the project design.
- Responsible for aiding in the creation of precise formwork layout drawings and erection guidelines for field teams.
- Collaborates closely with the project team to monitor safety, costs, and schedules of construction initiatives.
- Identifies and resolves issues related to structural design in conjunction with the project team.
- Contributes to the preparation of quantity surveys, formwork estimates, and project proposals.
- Supports the coordination of material procurement, deliveries, tracking, and forecasting to ensure optimal use of Ceco's resources.
- Engages in special projects and fulfills additional duties as assigned to support the organization.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Fundamental knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BIM Modeling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with all organizational levels, as well as customers and suppliers.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to systematically analyze and organize substantial amounts of information regarding plan layouts, material deliveries, and jobsite efficiency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and relevant OSHA regulations.
- Willingness to travel and work for extended periods on projects outside the office environment.
