Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Elementary Multilingual Education Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting the academic and linguistic success of our multilingual learners. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of educators who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead instructional coaching on sheltered instruction pedagogy and monitor compliance for all emergent bilingual students on campus.
  • Provide ESL instruction with small groups of newcomer/beginner students for 1-2 class periods per day.
  • Communicate with parents of emergent bilingual students and plan Title III parent, family, and community events.
  • Develop and implement professional development for teachers on English Language Development (ELD), linguistic accommodations, and instructional practices for emergent bilingual students.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (required) with required licensure/certification or Master's Degree in Second Language Acquisition (TESOL, ESL, Bilingual).
  • At least two years teaching Multilingual Learners (Content or Pull-Out ESL and/or Bilingual Program).
  • At least two years of experience as an LPAC member.
  • Strong record of advancing multilingual students' content and language skills.
