Job Summary

The ALS Association is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Director to lead our fundraising efforts in the Great West Territory. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, identifying new opportunities for engagement and growth
  • Manage a team of development staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute events, campaigns, and other fundraising initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze fundraising metrics, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to increase revenue
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-7 years of development experience, including experience in non-profit event management and peer-to-peer fundraising
  • Proven track record of managing teams and driving revenue growth
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
