Job Summary

At TIMBER, we're seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our team and contribute to a large managed-service project for a well-established client in the industry. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in conducting a current state assessment, identifying future state outlines, and facilitating change management and communication activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a thorough current state assessment of the business processes and systems for assigned workstreams, analyzing existing workflows and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop a comprehensive future state outline, outlining objectives, scope, benefits, risks, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints for the ITS teams impacted and business stakeholders.
  • Define and document functional and non-functional requirements and specifications for changes identified, utilizing tools and techniques such as interviews, workshops, surveys, use cases, user stories, wireframes, prototypes, and more.
  • Review and validate requirements and specifications with key stakeholders, obtaining their approval and sign-off as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support to applicable product and/or development teams in translating requirements and specifications into Epics, Features, User Stories, design, code, and tests.
  • Conduct and/or facilitate quality assurance and testing activities to ensure the new software solution meets requirements and specifications and conforms to quality standards and best practices.
  • Facilitate and manage change management and communication activities as needed to ensure smooth adoption and transition of the new software solution by end-users and stakeholders.
  • Provide post-implementation support as requested.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business analysis, process improvement, and change management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work environment, with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
