Job Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Sourcing Analyst to join our team in the Travel, Transport & Logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to facilitate the sourcing process, which includes aiding in project evaluations, formulating sourcing strategies, assessing supplier capabilities, and negotiating contracts to meet financial and quality goals.
  • Foster and maintain effective working relationships and communication channels with clients and suppliers.
  • Support the development, execution, and management of contracts while interfacing with various levels within the organization and supplier networks.
  • Work in tandem with Procurement Buyers and the Sourcing Team to pinpoint sourcing opportunities.
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of commodities, encompassing vendor selection, management, and asset acquisition/disposition.
  • Ensure that suppliers consistently meet or surpass quality, cost, and performance standards.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement, sourcing, or a related field is necessary.
  • Preferred experience includes 3 years in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-building and project management skills are highly regarded.
  • Experience in vendor management, including performance oversight and continuous improvement, is preferred.
  • A proven ability to maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers is essential.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, such as cost/benefit analysis, are preferred.
  • Experience in contract negotiation is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated individuals who can drive change in a decentralized environment will thrive.
  • Ability to create and deliver persuasive presentations to various organizational stakeholders is required.
