POSITION: ACCOUNTING MANAGER

SALARY: $145K-$165K PLUS BONUS

The senior leadership team is looking for an Accounting Manager who will be accountable for:

  1. Comprehensive accounting management of the portfolio, which includes preparing financial statements, maintaining the general ledger, projecting cash flows, and analyzing job cost reports.
  2. Supervising Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, along with overseeing budgeting and expense management activities. Responsible for establishing the corporate budget and conducting P&L variance analysis.
  3. Evaluating asset-level financial statements and providing support to asset management.
  4. Collaborating with third-party property management and asset management teams.
  5. Managing disposed assets and coordinating with asset management to finalize accounting and tax documentation.
  6. Assessing contribution and distribution calculations.
  7. Partnering with project management and asset management to ensure timely submission of draws.
  8. Reviewing CAM and Tax and Insurance reconciliations.
  9. Possessing knowledge of tax implications related to 1031 exchanges, TIC, K-1's, real estate partnerships, waterfalls, etc.
  10. Conducting monthly and quarterly financial updates.

Essential Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. CPA designation is preferred.
