We are seeking a Data Engineer/Architecture Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing a team or department, establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs, and driving applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain large-scale data systems
Ensure data quality and integrity
Provide technical tools and platforms for employees
Lead requirement gathering sessions with business leads, operations, SMEs, technologists, and governance teams
Inventory lineage records to create end-to-end transparency and expose fragmented data functions for process simplification

Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Science, and/or Data Modeling expertise
3+ years of experience in a managerial or lead role, managing data modeling or data governance teams
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop talent, manage project teams, and drive performance in high-pressure environments
Must have hands-on experience in developing large complex data models and building complex IT systems
Experience in Capital Markets/Banking/Retail/Research domains
Financial Industry knowledge in commercial banking, capital, and investment banking and markets is a plus
Strong experience in relational modeling, UML modeling, and metadata management tools
Experience in Modeling and architecture tools such as Magic Draw, Ewin, Enterprise Architect is a plus.
Expertise in Data Management methodologies involving architecture, modeling, storage, security
Good understanding of data governance - defining strategy, developing goals, principles, and policies
Demonstrated influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills
Track record of interfacing with and presenting results to senior management
Analytical, flexible, team-oriented, and have good interpersonal/communication skills

Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
