About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Analyst to join our team at Christus Health. As an Epic Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing our healthcare applications to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and develop solutions to complex business issues and workflows, applying your knowledge of healthcare systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement medium to high complexity projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, working closely with end-users, operational leaders, and vendors to resolve issues and improve application usability.
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of healthcare systems and applications, staying up-to-date with new releases and functionality.
  • Work independently, using independent judgment to analyze variable factors and make decisions regarding your work.
  • Mentor and train junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
  • Stay current with new version training and certifications, maintaining your proficiency in assigned Epic modules.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or information systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare, business, or information systems, with a focus on application support and optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data in a meaningful way.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adjust to and implement change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a team setting, sharing information and assisting junior team members.
  • Certified or proficient in assigned Epic module, with a commitment to maintaining new version training and certifications.
