Job Overview: This full-time role necessitates 1880 hours of annual support, with responsibilities carried out at a designated customer location. As a Mission Management Process Engineer, you will leverage process enhancement methodologies and engineering principles to optimize and align enterprise-level processes. Your role will involve facilitating project teams to achieve their objectives and ensuring the seamless transfer of new processes and practices through group facilitation, training, and other knowledge transfer methods. You will serve as a pivotal coordinator among various project teams to guarantee the integration of engineering efforts across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate plans for process evaluations.
- Collaborate with project team members to assess organizational readiness and conduct evaluations.
- Coordinate and schedule process evaluations.
- Lead teams in executing both formal and informal evaluations.
- Analyze evaluation outcomes and propose enhancement recommendations.
- Drive Process Improvement initiatives utilizing CMM/CMI or comparable process models.
- Interpret and advocate for the adoption of Process Improvement best practices.
- Ensure that processes are established and documented to support sound systems engineering practices and ongoing process enhancement.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Process Improvement within programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity, including five years of experience in facilitation, training, methodology development, and evaluation.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Education from an accredited institution is mandatory. A High School diploma combined with four years of additional experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, Visio, and Python-based Lab Bench/Jupyter notebooks.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is a prerequisite.

- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team to meet assigned tasks within expected timelines.
- Familiarity with data collection and processing, including data flow, analysis, report generation, and customer feedback, is advantageous.
- Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and customer workflows.
