Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Management Specialist to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our USCYBERCOM team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our knowledge management system, ensuring seamless access and sharing of information across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Knowledge Management: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for knowledge management and its reporting capabilities, managing content and workflow, and educating front-end users on the use of the knowledge management system.
  • Information Integration: Integrate information from departments and functions throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal business partners and external customers.
  • User Training: Train and educate front-end users of the knowledge management tools.
  • Process Improvement: Coordinate process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of technology solutions, facilitate discussion of process alternatives to arrive at best practices, and coordinate the development and modification of new and existing content.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support to CNMF by conducting and overseeing data analysis to optimize search results and ensure proper categorization of content.
  • Strategic Direction: Provide strategic direction to business groups through initiative prioritization, integration, and resource application and ensures that policies and procedures align with the USCYBERCOM mission.
  • Content Management: Manage content that integrates information from departments and functions throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal business partners and external customers.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Oversee reporting to support operations and prepares analysis and recommendations related to categorization of content and optimizing search results.
  • Benefits Realization: Monitor solution benefits and key measures of success to ensure that ongoing benefits are realized (e.g., improved process consistency and faster onboarding of information).
  • Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate development of controls with business partners through streamlining processes and system automation, and prepare presentations for senior management to support recommended changes, new initiatives, or enhancements.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Information Management, or related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Knowledge Management Specialist.
  • Technical Skills: Significant SharePoint experience required, experience designing SharePoint front-end solutions based on business requirements, knowledge of SharePoint Designer workflows, Jira, Confluence and/or InfoPath forms.
  • Clearance: U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
Desirable Skills
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communications skills.
  • Collaboration: Devise online collaborative solutions comprised of workflows, forms, and dashboards.
  • Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of USCYBERCOM/CNMF mission.
