Job Description

Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at The Mission Essential Group, LLC. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, troubleshooting system-related issues, and ensuring the overall health and performance of our Information Management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Troubleshoot system-related issues and identify root causes
  • Collaborate with system technicians and users to resolve issues and provide mitigation strategies
  • Document and analyze trouble tickets, escalate issues to engineers, and ensure ticket resolution
  • Monitor and report system health and performance metrics
  • Perform analysis on system applications and provide recommendations for system optimization
  • Gather, consolidate, and report Enterprise Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA) data
  • Monitor and report anomalies on the physical, data link, network, and transport layers of our Information Management systems

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 (one) year of experience performing help desk support functions
  • Security Clearance: MUST have a minimum of TS/SCI clearance, with a CI Poly
