Job DescriptionThe Behavioral Support Specialist will apply behavior intervention methods for individuals in a structured program. Key responsibilities include observing and documenting resident behavior, maintaining records, and employing crisis management skills. The successful candidate will participate in recreational activities, model ABA methodologies, and maintain awareness of clients' whereabouts to ensure safety.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have 1+ years of human service experience working with children or adults. A bachelor's degree in a human services field is preferred, along with RN or LPN certification. You should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as behavioral intervention and crisis management skills.
Location and Work EnvironmentThis position requires availability for overnight and long-term behavioral aid services in Georgia counties, including Catoosa, Chattooga, and others. You must have a valid Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation.
