Position Overview:
Matrix Providers is seeking a dedicated Clinical Optometrist to provide essential services for our esteemed Veterans.

Employment Type: Independent Contractor

Compensation: Hourly wage, paid bi-weekly.

Work Schedule: PRN (pre-scheduled), typically 2-3 days per week, from 8 AM to 4 PM on weekdays.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess the following credentials:
- Valid and unrestricted licensure as an Optometrist in the state of Colorado.
- Must be a qualified and licensed Optometrist.

Job Responsibilities:
The Clinical Optometrist will:
- Review relevant medical history and conduct one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension examinations for Veterans.
- Utilize a web-based examination form to document responses during the exam; all records will be maintained electronically.
- Submit completed evaluations to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability determination.
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision loss, glaucoma, and other ocular conditions.
- Conduct Visual Field Testing as necessary; all required equipment will be provided.
