Employment Type:
Independent Contractor
Compensation Structure:
This role offers hourly compensation, disbursed bi-weekly.
Work Schedule:
PRN (pre-scheduled), with availability of 2-3 days per week, from 8 AM to 4 PM, on weekdays.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted licensure as an Optometrist in the state of Colorado.
- Must be a qualified and licensed Optometrist.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Optometrist, you will:
- Review relevant medical history documentation and conduct one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension examinations for Veterans.
- Utilize a web-based examination form to capture responses during the evaluation; all documentation will be processed electronically.
- Submit completed examinations to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award assessments.
- Conduct comprehensive eye assessments to check for vision impairment, glaucoma, and ocular injuries.
- Perform Visual Field Testing as necessary; all required equipment will be provided.
