Employment Type:
Independent Contractor

Compensation Structure:
This role offers hourly compensation, disbursed bi-weekly.

Work Schedule:
PRN (pre-scheduled), with availability of 2-3 days per week, from 8 AM to 4 PM, on weekdays.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as an Optometrist in the state of Colorado.
  • Must be a qualified and licensed Optometrist.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Optometrist, you will:
  • Review relevant medical history documentation and conduct one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension examinations for Veterans.
  • Utilize a web-based examination form to capture responses during the evaluation; all documentation will be processed electronically.
  • Submit completed examinations to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award assessments.
  • Conduct comprehensive eye assessments to check for vision impairment, glaucoma, and ocular injuries.
  • Perform Visual Field Testing as necessary; all required equipment will be provided.
