Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Records Processing Specialist to join our team. As an Onsite Medical Records Processing Specialist, you will be responsible for processing medical record requests in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Process medical record requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Work in a team environment to meet productivity and quality standards
- Assist in overflow processing due to high volume issues and/or coverage issues
- Ensure confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Monitor incoming requests and maintain a consistent schedule
- Perform general office duties as needed
- Fast learner with ability to adapt to new systems and processes
- Dependable and quick worker with strong attention to detail
- Team player with positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Knowledge of EMR systems and Epic software
