We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Project Management to join our team at John Paul Mitchell Systems. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading project and program planning and execution across various functions, including supply chain, R&D, and legal.
Your primary focus will be on driving projects and programs to achieve mission-critical outcomes for our existing product line and supply chain changes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, manage timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Manage project planning and execution, including cross-functional planning and coordination
- Develop and implement project management best practices to ensure successful project delivery
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, manage timelines, and ensure successful project delivery
- Manage project budgets, resources, and risks to ensure successful project delivery
- Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including leadership and team members
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned
- 10+ years of professional experience in project management, with a focus on regulated environments
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing project budgets, resources, and risks
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, and manage ambiguity in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other project management tools
- Previous experience in a MRP, ERP, WMS environment, with experience in Microsoft D365, AX, or Navision preferred
- Competitive base salary range of $125,000 to $165,000
