Job Summary

MAT Holdings, Inc. is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team in a fast-paced assembly style environment. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding multiple attachments, brackets, and tubing in accordance with blueprints and welding process specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weld multiple attachments, brackets, and tubing in accordance with blueprints and welding process specifications
  • Pass ASME Certification requiring 6" vertical down weld with full penetration on.094 material with a gap of.052"
  • Conduct quality inspections of work and ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition and report maintenance and safety concerns
  • Conduct repairs, modifications, and retrofits on production items
  • Provide data to assist in monitoring and tracking project status
  • Assist in training of junior employees and inspect their work
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects
  • Sign off on completed work orders and quality of work
  • Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance, and repair techniques
  • Actively participate in the development of a LEAN manufacturing culture
Requirements
  • Competent MIG welder with experience in welding multiple attachments, brackets, and tubing
  • Ability to pass ASME Certification
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced assembly style environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
