Role Overview:

As an Area Service Operations Manager at Benco Dental, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, upkeep, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of dental, radiographic, and related equipment for our clients in your designated area. Your leadership is crucial in ensuring adherence to customer specifications and company standards, while guaranteeing that all tasks are completed efficiently and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide, mentor, assess, and enhance the performance of regional service and installation technicians
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to meet regional labor sales objectives
  • Ensure Service Technicians comply with time and attendance reporting standards while accurately reflecting assigned work
  • Hold Service Technicians accountable for their responsibilities
  • Organize and lead regularly scheduled meetings with all regional personnel
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience:
    • Associate Degree in Business or Biomedical Technology
    • 5 Years of Experience in a Service-Oriented Industry
    • Prior Management Experience
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Routine walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting, as well as sitting, standing, reaching, and twisting
    • Frequent lifting/lowering/carrying/pushing/pulling weights ranging from 1 to 55 pounds, with occasional lifting of 56 to 100 pounds
    • Routine manual dexterity and strength in the use of hands, arms, and shoulders
    • Ability to work in confined spaces
    • Regular travel to customer locations and occasional use of power tools
