We are looking for a dedicated Outside Sales Representative to discover new target markets and enhance relationships with existing clients to meet sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Transform objections into opportunities by identifying and addressing potential barriers such as budget constraints, timelines, stakeholders, competition, and other challenges.
Engage in proactive cold calling and emailing to potential clients, arrange in-person sales meetings, and follow up on inquiries for information.
Finalize sales by creating, presenting, and negotiating tailored solutions for your prospects.Conduct competitive analysis, recognize industry and product trends, and position our brand as the preferred choice.
Surpass monthly and quarterly revenue targets while achieving sales and lead generation objectives to secure ongoing business.
Maintain accurate bookkeeping systems, sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools to effectively report progress towards monthly and quarterly sales goals to stakeholders.
Execute proven sales strategies and tactics to sustain and expand existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long-term clients.Invest time in understanding new and potential clients, evaluate their priorities and financial situations, and propose suitable insurance plan options that meet their unique needs.
Formulate and present risk management strategies tailored to each customer based on their risk profile.Stay informed about insurance industry standards and policy changes to ensure compliance with all policy requirements, and oversee insurance claims to guarantee mutual satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Outstanding negotiation, interpersonal, presentation, persuasion, and communication skills.
Some familiarity with the industry or product is preferred, and a high school diploma is required.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in outside sales is preferred.
Team-oriented, organized, self-motivated individual with a focus on service, detail, problem-solving, and meeting deadlines.
Ability to consistently meet and exceed monthly sales quotas.
Sales experience is preferred – a proactive mindset is essential.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A genuine desire to assist others.
Strong business acumen.
Resilience in overcoming challenges.
Ability to engage with the community and leverage personal networks.
Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Compensation:
$65,000+ at plan
