Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Transaction Coordinator to join our team at Global Credit Union. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our mortgage loan originators and ensuring the smooth execution of loan transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and direct members and professional partners to appropriate individuals, scheduling and coordinating mortgage loan originator appointments as required.
  • Respond to inquiries and questions from members and professional partners, directing them to appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Assist mortgage loan originators and processors in collecting documentation from members, maintaining logs as necessary regarding mortgage loan applications.
  • Support originators with marketing functions, addressing member concerns and inquiries quickly, professionally, and courteously.
  • Collaborate with originators, processors, and management to ensure loan transactions meet time frames and goals are achieved.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of loan origination systems, automated underwriting systems, and program guidelines.
  • Perform various administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Two years of general office experience, including direct customer contact.
  • One year of experience in mortgage loan processing, escrow/title, with basic knowledge of most loan program processing requirements.
  • Proficient typing skills, knowledge of office machines, and math aptitude.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Highly motivated, resourceful, and possess good organizational and communication skills.
