Military Computer Systems Technician

About This Role
As a Military Computer Systems Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and supporting the critical computer systems that power our operations. Your expertise will ensure seamless communication, data processing, and overall technological functionality within the U.S. Army.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive network administration and maintenance services.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Develop, test, and implement computer programs tailored to military applications.
- Collaborate with other technical personnel to resolve complex IT challenges.
Training and Development
You'll receive rigorous training through Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training, equipping you with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in this role. This comprehensive program will cover:
- Computer systems concepts and principles.
- Network infrastructure design and management.
- Software development and programming techniques.
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware and peripherals.
Desired Qualifications
A strong interest in computer science, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are highly valued. Prior experience with computer installation and troubleshooting is beneficial but not required.
