About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Technician to join our team at Benchmark Electronics. As a Test Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform debug and test assemblies to component level, utilizing block diagrams and schematics.
  • Perform tester maintenance and upkeep.
  • Troubleshoot operator problems successfully, works with leadership on training and process improvements.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to the Test operators.
  • Communicate problems to Test Engineer and/or leader.
  • Assist in performing experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.
  • Recommend additional equipment needs to leadership and/or Test Engineers for the product debug areas.
  • Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.
  • Comply and follow all company security policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Ability to provide various levels of engineer quality work.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills at all levels within the organization and with customers.
  • Ability to work on the most complex products and issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-year Engineering or Technical degree.
  • Basic understanding of Test Measurement and Debug Techniques.
  • Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required.
