Test Technician III

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Technician to join our team at Benchmark Electronics. As a Test Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform debug and test assemblies to component level, utilizing block diagrams and schematics.
- Perform tester maintenance and upkeep.
- Troubleshoot operator problems successfully, works with leadership on training and process improvements.
- Provide training and ongoing support to the Test operators.
- Communicate problems to Test Engineer and/or leader.
- Assist in performing experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.
- Recommend additional equipment needs to leadership and/or Test Engineers for the product debug areas.
- Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.
- Comply and follow all company security policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience.
- Ability to provide various levels of engineer quality work.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills at all levels within the organization and with customers.
- Ability to work on the most complex products and issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-year Engineering or Technical degree.
- Basic understanding of Test Measurement and Debug Techniques.
- Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required.
