Job SummaryUnder the supervision of the Director of Mental Health Services, you will provide psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and short-term counseling to individuals and groups. You will also develop program content and lead activities to enhance social development and promote group goals.
Responsibilities- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals and groups
- Provide short-term counseling and education to support veterans' mental health
- Develop and lead activities to promote social development and group goals
- Collaborate with the PACT team and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Provide case management and referrals to community resources as needed
- Master's degree in Social Work from a program registered by the Department of Education
- Valid LCSW/MSW license in the state of employment or any U.S. state or territory
- Minimum 2+ years' post-master direct counseling experience with adult patients
- Proven mastery of advanced sociological, psychological, and mental health care related interventions and issues
- Certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Strong computer skills, including EMR experience
